Impeccably clean room with exceptionally comfortable beds, an electric kettle, central heating and a work desk. Freshly cooked and great breakfast with a wide range of hot/cold dishes. Great and stunning location - not far from the centre of a delightful, and Castle Howard.

Quiet and picturesque location, great for getting away from it all, yet not that far of the beaten track.
No comment as nothing negative to report.

The lady working on reception was excellent. We arrived shortly before a wedding and room service was very prompt and very good, we were helped with arrangements for taxis.
Breakfast was quite good but the waitresses were very unfriendly and my egg was undercooked (I specifically asked for it to be hard boiled as I am pregnant but I got a soft egg which I could not eat.)

Comfortable bed, but the room was very tired looking and in need of refreshment.

The attention of all the staff. We arrived in very cold weather and each night hot water bottles were placed in our beds. The food was excellent.
Only a small point did suggest to the management that they consider installing bath hand rails. Climbing in and out of a bath, especially when elderly can be difficult and dangerous.

The Worsley Arms is ideally situated for where we wanted to be during a short break in Yorkshire.

We stayed here with a group of friends while hiking in the beautiful Howardian Hills. The village vibe is charming, and the local atmosphere at the hotel was warm, especially with live music . The gardens were gorgeous. The hearty food and comfy rooms. Definitely a great spot to recharge after outdoor adventures!
One downside was that the sound from the bar could be a bit noisy at times, especially on open mic nights, which might disrupt those seeking a quiet evening.

I particularly like the atmosphere at the Worsley Arms, I can describe it as being "very English". It's like staying in someone's country house.Everywhere is immaculately clean, there is a beautiful garden too.

Welcoming staff, excellent position with easy access to Castle Howard, Helmsley and North York Moors
Disappointing food and choice of drinks at Bar
